Features:

  • Identifier can quickly identify the direction of transmitting and receiving light through the fibre and display the relative core power without damaging the fibre or disrupting the network.
  • THREE SIGNALS CAN BE IDENTIFIED - The optical fibre identifier is used for identifying 3 commonly used signal frequencies, namely 2KHz, 1KHz, 270Hz; when the frequency is recognized, it will beep.
  • MICROBENDING TEST TECHNOLOGY - The live optical fibre identifier can accurately identify fibre direction. When the optical fibre has a signal, the left and right direction lights indicate the signal direction. When the left direction light is on, it indicates that the light source is from right to left.
  • ERGONOMIC DESIGN - When holding the optical firer identifier, hold the trigger switch on the back with your index finger. Clamp the optical fibre to automatically start the test. Press down to clamp the optical fibre.
  • HIDDEN RED LIGHT SOURCE - The bottom cover of the optical fibre identifier can be opened. The stable and powerful concentrated hidden red light source effectively cooperates with the optical fibre inspection.
  • Built-in 10mw/kw Visual Fault Locator.

Description: The FIBAsource Optical Fibre Identifier is a handheld live fibre detector tester that quickly and accurately identifies the direction of transmitting and receiving light through the fibre. It also displays the relative core power without causing damage or disruptions to the network. With advanced micro-bending test technology, it can identify signal frequencies of 2KHz, 1KHz, and 270Hz, indicated by a beeping sound. The ergonomic design allows for easy use, as the trigger switch is held with the index finger and the optical fibre is automatically clamped for testing. Additionally, the hidden red light source, located under the bottom cover, works seamlessly with the fibre inspection process.
